Measurement Process
For both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates
Automatically identifies ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. No special operation required; simply press the sensor against the object to measure the thickness of the coating.
Refer to the table below for combinations of coatings and substrates that can be measured.
3-color LED lamp for thickness judgment
By setting a higher and lower limit, pass or fail can be judged by the color of the LED lamp. The lamp lights orange when the measured value is above the higher limit, red when it is below the lower limit, and green when it is within the higher and lower limits. * The LED lamp can also be turned off.
